Return and Cancellation Policy
We know plans (and babies!) can change. We have designed our service to be as flexible as possible. If you have any questions please drop us a message at hello@baboodle.co.uk.
When to initiate your return
All payments will be taken on the same day each month in advance of your next months' rental. If you would like to return your item before your next month begins, you must initiate your cancellation one working day prior to your next billing date. As long we receive your order back within 5 days of your payment date, this will be refunded. Unfortunately we cannot issue any refunds for any payments not cancelled in time.
Early return
For example: you have rented a pram for 3 months at a cost of £37 a month. The cost to rent the pram for 1 months is £42 a month. If you choose to cancel after 1 month, the Cancellation Charge would be the difference in the monthly fee multiplied by the number of months you have rented the pram for. In this instance it would be £42 - £37 = £5 * 1 month = £5.
How to return
Visit our Returns Portal for full instructions on how to return an item. Once you have initiated your return, you will be sent a link to either generate a returns label or organise a collection.
For smaller items (e.g. carriers, breast pumps, travel strollers, baby monitors etc):
Once you’ve created your label via our self-service portal you will have three working days to either drop your items off at a drop off point or organise your own collection. The collections will take place with your normal Royal Mail deliveries.
For larger items (e.g. cribs, prams, bouncers etc):
We will arrange a courier collection for you at the time you give us when you register your return.
Please always keep proof of postage!
Packaging
If your item has arrived in its product box, we ask that you hold on to the box to send it back to us. Our boxes can all be folded down for storage. If you no longer have your original box please contact us at returns@baboodle.co.uk.
What happens next?
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. Your subscription will be amended, and your next payment will not include the returned item. You will also have been given a unique discount code upon registering your return to use on your next rental.
Payments
Your next payment will come out on the usual billing date if we have not received your item back before then. However, we do allow a 5 day transit period, and this payment will be refunded if we receive the item back within 5 days of your payment.
If you're cancelling before we've shipped your item
We will charge you a £5 cancellation fee. This is purely to cover the costs to us of reserving your item and processing your order, including the cost of credit checks and software licensing fees. If you subsequently place another order just drop us an email at hello@baboodle.co.uk and we will deduct £5 from the order value.
If you're cancelling a monthly subscription after we've shipped your item but before you've used it
You may cancel your order within 14 days of the item being delivered to you and receive full refund less a £5 cancellation fee plus the cost to us of delivery and return, provided that:

Baboodle receive the item back within 14 days of it being delivered to you;

the item is returned in the exact condition in which it was delivered with the same packaging intact and undamaged.
If you're cancelling a monthly subscription after you've used your item but within 14 days
If your packaging has been opened or your item has been used the cancellation fee will be:

A percentage of the one monthly rental cost calculated on pro-rata basis;

The delivery and return shipping cost to us;

The cost to us of cleaning the item and performing the necessary quality checks.
If the item is not back with us within 14 days of you receiving it, your fee will be one priced as a month rental.
You can exchange your item at any time! We will simply charge you:

Any difference in rental rate (pro-rata) between the exchanged items;

The delivery and return shipping cost to us;

The cost to us of cleaning the returned item and performing the necessary quality checks.
