Refer to the label. If detachable and machine washable, wash at maximum 30°C.

Most underseat baskets are non-washable, but can be wiped clean with a damp cloth.

Mix a solution of water with a small amount of a mild, non-toxic detergent. We use Dew Sanitising Spray. Apply to the frame with a non-abrasive damp cloth. Never use strong detergents or solvents. Take care to brush away from any sliding joints and mechanisms.

Periodically remove the wheels from the chassis and brush off any dirt or sand from the inside axle. Do not submerge wheel bearings in water. Use a brush and water to clean dirt from the wheels.

Store in a dry place and leave to dry unfolded to prevent mould.

Mesh, jersey and cotton covers should be washed in warm water (40°C) with a gentle, bleach-free detergent. Wash in a laundry bag or pillowcase. Do not tumble dry or iron.

Wash at 30°C on a delicate programme. Line dry in the shade. Use only a gentle, bleach-free detergent. Use laundry bags and do not tumble dry.

Check tyre pressure regularly. Remove any stones or debris from the tread. Check that the saddle clamp is secure before each use.

Refer to the care label. Most fabric elements can be spot-cleaned with a damp cloth. Machine wash at 30°C where the label permits.
