Most parents find double prams too bulky for long term use and decide to downsize to a single pram and a buggy board as soon as their eldest is walking a bit more. Parents often choose to rent a really comfortable double pram for the first 6 months, and switch to a slightly more compact pram once their youngest is able to sit up on their own.

Our average double pram rental length is 6 months, costing under £300.

If you think that you may only want to use a double pram for a few months, renting is a great alternative to buying.

As long as we haven't dispatched it, we can amend the dates. We are 100% flexible. If we have dispatched it, you can usually adjust the delivery date on the tracking link provided.

Buying everything you need for a baby is expensive, a drain on the planet's resources, and, let's be honest, a faff. On top of that, babies grow out of things so quickly (if they ever even liked it in the first place) that it just doesn't make sense to buy.

Delivery: Select your preferred delivery date on the checkout page. We will deliver your products on this date, and your rental will start from then. You will pay for your first period up-front, but any subsequent payments will be exactly one month from delivery. Shipping costs £7.95 within the UK. You can also collect from our Central London warehouse.

Returns: When you are ready to return your item, just hit ‘cancel’ in your account or email us at returns@baboodle.co.uk. You will be sent a link to create your FREE returns label and book in your return. We pause payments for 5 days whilst we await your items. Once the items arrive back with us your rental will be ended and all payments will be stopped.

Baboodle cover general wear and tear (scratches and small stains). They are to be expected. If the item is damaged beyond repair, lost, or stolen, we may charge you for the total estimated Replacement Value of the item. If the item is repairable, but the repair is expected to cost over £20, we may charge you for the cost of repair. Thankfully, our damage rate is incredibly low. We only rent items that do not damage easily. Of our 20,000+ rentals last year, we had to charge for fewer than 5. 

Absolutely! Every piece of equipment Baboodle sends out undergoes a rigorous quality check and thorough cleaning process. Each item is carefully inspected for visible damage, including tears or cracks. Functional components such as brakes, wheels and reclining systems are tested to ensure they operate smoothly. We use baby-friendly sanitising spray from Dew to thoroughly clean and sterilise every item.

Yes, many double prams are suitable from birth, especially those with lie-flat seats or compatible carrycots. Always check the manufacturer’s age and weight recommendations before buying. On our product pages, just select the twin configuration.

Most tandem (top and bottom) double prams fit through standard UK doorways. Side-by-side models vary, but many are designed to be as narrow as possible while still offering comfort for both children. The Bugaboo Donkey can be adjusted to fit through narrow doorways.
